They are based in South Island New Zealand at two diffent locations.

​

Both members are involved in the writing and final audio production.

​

Largely unedited tracks with no rhythm adjustments and very few Autotune corrections are used for better musical dynamics.

​

The drums are recorded in an acoustically treated garage and a bedroom is used for most of the other instruments.

​

The doctor uses a Gretsch catalina maple drum kit with modified shells and hardware.

CRS cymbal pads.

A large variety of low/mid end microphones are utilised, mostly Rode, Sennheiser and Shure.

The Major uses a variety of HiWatt, VHT and Gunn amplifiers with boutique tube and speaker arrangements. Almost all guitars are Fender telecaster and stratocaster varieties.
